Number Nostalgia

The Math Club’s spotlight event, Number Nostalgia, brought together students for an evening filled with fun and intellectually stimulating activities. Held at the university, the event featured three main activities that combined problem-solving with a competitive edge.

One of the highlights was the Blackjack tournament, where participants played 12-15 rounds. Many students were new to the game, but after a quick crash course, they soon grasped the rules. By the third round, the intensity picked up as players went "all in" to win chocolates, turning it into a high-stakes showdown.

Another fan favorite was the Fermi Problem Challenge, where participants had to make educated guesses for real-world problems. This activity tested their ability to estimate in clever and practical ways.

The event also featured a Riddle Station, challenging participants to solve math-themed puzzles that required quick thinking and sharp logic.

Overall, Number Nostalgia was a successful blend of games, math, and fun, leaving students both entertained and intellectually satisfied. The Math Club’s creative approach continues to draw interest, and students are eager for the next event.
